The Leffingwells have run cattle in Montana for five generations. In 2022 the family brought the herd to the high prairie northeast of Broadus — 15,000 acres of open grass, sagebrush canyons, and timbered breaks running down to the Powder River.
It’s big, honest country, and it makes the kind of cattle that hold up. Our cows calve out on the range and raise a good calf every year without any fuss — sound-footed, easy-keeping, and bred to work for the outfit that buys them.
