The whole place is yours.
Nothing between you and the prairie but a screen door.
You won’t share the ranch with a crowd. The Leffingwells take just one or two parties at a time — two to four guests — so wherever you lay your head, it’s yours for the week: no front desk, no neighbors through the wall, and the whole wide-open country to yourself.
A house of your own, ten miles out.
Cow Camp is the ranch’s second home — a plain white house that sits about ten miles from headquarters, an eighteen-to-twenty-minute drive on gravel through some of the prettiest country you’ll cross all week, with antelope in the meadows and hawks lifting off the sandrock.
Step out the front door, look west, and you’re looking straight at the cattle’s summer and fall range — sagebrush buttes and a high pine ridge that catches the late rain. Inside: two bedrooms with queen beds, a full bath, a living room, and a kitchen with the basics — coffee pot, refrigerator, and freezer for whatever snacks and drinks you bring along. It sleeps up to four, and the whole house is yours.

Just right for a pair.
Traveling as one or two? There’s also a smaller cabin tucked in by the ranch house — a full bath, a sitting area, and a kitchenette, and just steps from the table where meals are served. Cozy, quiet, and close to the heart of the place.
Either way, all three squares a day are served family-style at the ranch house, so you’re never far from a hot meal and good company.

Star-speckled sky, wrapped in quiet.
When the work’s done and the lights go low, the prairie gets big and still. Sit out on the porch, count the stars you can’t see at home, and turn in easy.
Come stay a week.
